Diving in Tulum
Description:
Enigmatic place ideal to dream and relax. Is here where the famous old Mayan walled city is found, builded on a Cliff looking to the unbelievable Caribbean sea that the old Mayans used as port and astronomic observatory.
Tulum is located 150 kms. South away from Cancun and is the tipical town visited by back packers, nature and alternative tourism lovers.
It has two Banks, taxies and Hostels.
The magic of Tulum i son its beaches with white sand and the peace that you breath while you are facing the beautiful blue turquoise of the Caribbean ocean. You can practice kite board, ride a bike, visit the ruins or to dive in the ocean on its shallow reefs around 20 to 50 feet/7 to 16 meters deep approximately.
Logistic:
Meeting point at the Tulum bus station at 08:00 a.m. to take you to the marina then go by boat to make two shallow reef dives, from where you can see from surface part of Tulum ruins.
Or to make one dive in our beautiful open river “cenote manatee” diving trough incredible mangroves, which is ideal for non experience divers, beginners and for those that are looking for something different and unique!
In our two tanks diving, during our surface interval between both dives, on board we give you fruit, cookies and purified water.
If you need part or all equipment required to dive, we have equipment rental (BCD, regulator, mask, fins and wet suit) .
Schedule:
Pick up 08:00 a.m. at the Tulum bus station to take you to the marina from where we leave by boat at 09:00 a.m. to make two dives or to take you to the cenote manatee and make one dive. Highly recommended for divers with no experience or with a long period of inactivity.
Pick up 10:00 a.m. for beginners, discover scuba diving experiences, open water diver course, refresher courses to have confined water training and then go diving at 01:00 p.m.!!!
Pick up 12:00 hrs for snorkeling tour (11:00 a.m. if you require previous training and/or practicing)
Included:
Transportation from Tulum bus station to the marina or to cenote manatee and transportation back to Tulum bus station.
National marine park fee. Transportation by boat from our marina to the dive sites and back to the marina. During our surface interval between both dives, on board we give you fruit, cookies and purified water.
Tanks and weights rental.
Not Included:
Meals or drinks except for those mentioned included and given on board of our diving boat during our surface interval.
Wet suit. Equipment rental (BCD, regulator, mask, fins). Photo and video. Anything not mentioned in our “Included” section.

75 usd p/p two tank reef diving for certified divers.
65 usd p/p one tank diving for certified divers.
90 usd p/p Discover Scuba Diving Experience for beginners, first timers or not certified divers.

Requirements:
To show certification card and log book is mandatory .
To fill a liability release and assumption of risk agreement and the standard safe diving practices statement of understanding forms the ones will be given to read and to sign at the marina (when the participant is a under 18 years old, is mandatory that a parent read, understand and sign those forms as the participant and to read and understand the Youth Diving: Responsibility and Risks flip chart and to sign the Youth Diving: Responsibility and Risks Acknowledgment.

Be healthy and not to have nasal congestion the days of the dives
Tips:
To take a light and energetic breakfast at your Hotel asfruit, cereal, milk, honey bee, etc... To bring a photo camera and sun glasses. To bring cash for souvenirs, tips, buy photos, buy video, shopping, drinks or meals not included.
To bring a towel. To bring sun block protection, biodegradable or reef friendly as contribution with the conservation of the environment (please put the sun block when you are leaving your Hotel to you skin absorber it and works efficiently).
To bring comfortable shoes and chocolate bars. Optional photo and video available with previous reservation.
